We know that valuing different points of view while working together toward Kodak's common goals leads to growth and innovation.

Fully integrated with our talent programs, Kodak aims to leverage diversity to achieve company business objectives and maximize the potential of individuals and the organization. Our mission is to integrate diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the business and talent life cycle in order to:

  • Fully engage the energies of Kodak's employees
  • Meet competitive challenges in the marketplace
  • Maximize shareholder value

The company's strategy is to engage employees, shareholders and other groups globally in Kodak's journey of inclusion, diversity and engagement in ways that reinforce a key Kodak commitment: respect for the dignity of the individual. By creating an environment in which such respect and trust thrive, employees can put their creativity to work developing new products and services, increasing productivity and customer delight.

Global Diversity

Employees have the opportunity to form company-recognized networks around a certain topic or demographic. In the past, examples include networks for Native Americans, African Americans, women, employees with disabilities, veterans, LGBTQ, working parents, and other affinity groups.

Kodak scores 100 percent on Corporate Equality Index

Kodak has once again scored 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI). Kodak has earned the top recognition in every one of the 17 years the HRC has compiled the index.

The recognition highlights a company’s commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace policies and practices. Kodak is one of 571 companies to earn a 100 percent ranking.

Kodak’s Chief Human Resources Officer Uwe Boerke noted: “It’s remarkable that Kodak continues to earn the highest rating on the HRC’s Corporate Equality Index. Kodak’s performance in the CEI reflects our corporate commitment to diversity and LBGTQ rights, which is among our greatest sources of strength.”

Corporate Equality Index

Companies with a 100 percent rating on the index have satisfied the criteria for that year and are recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” To meet the criteria, companies must have fully-inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide equal employment benefits, demonstrate organization LGBTQ competency, evidence their commitment to equality publicly, and exercise responsible citizenship.

Kodak continues to support a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees. The company is proud of its high ranking in the annual index and looks forward to continued recognition as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”
